Singing Evaluation (Everything You Didn't Do)
I believe our performance went very well, considering we hadn't had loads of rehearsals and only practised with the other group on the day of the performance. I feel the first section to the song was really strong and clearly projected and spoken. I was really comfortable with the harmony split in the choruses as well as it was a smooth transition that I had gone over in my own time to get the grips of it. I helped guide the rest of my group to hit the right note as they were struggling a bit, and this resulted in a powerful performance. However in the second verse, a few of us weren't fully confident on the lyrics so it stumbled a bit, but this was quickly picked back up when returning to the chorus. In the last section, I used to find it difficult to reach the high notes i.e "It's so clear now" scaling up, but with the previous warm ups and the use of my practise routine, I was able to deliver the words solidly and with the intended mood to it. The 3rd chorus then changes in key which has always been an awkward change for us. I think it's because it unexpectedly changes rather than gradually. Our harmony group were a bit wobbly at the start which could have been improved through more rehearsing, but we soon found the key and continued with a strong performance. Overall I think we worked together well and supported each other with a lively and energetic attitude, which encouraged a fun and successful performance.
