Today's rehearsal proceeded with the other cast running through Act 2.
When practising with the band, we found often the loudness of particularly the drums and electric guitar was overpowering our voices. We have to work on projecting much louder as only some areas of the audience can hear whats being said depending on where the character(s) is on stage. We need to make it so wherever you are positioned, your voice needs to carry round the whole room for the audence to hear. It's very important for this musical aswell, as it involves little dialogue and narration relies heavily on the song lyrics.
Our timing needs working on too, which was mainly a problem because it's difficult for the band players to hear where we are in the songs, so we need to pay attention to to the pace of the music and staying in key with them. In 'Will I', we need to really listen and concentrate on each other, so we don't go too fast which we have done a lot of times.
