Today's lesson we did a full run through starting from inside the theatre from scene 1, to outdoors from scene 2 and so on. This was really practical as we hadn't done a full run-through starting in the actual staging (theatre), as we gained a sense on how it would be when we lead on out to the 'woods'.
By now the musical really had come together, now all we required was the props, costume and staging! Previously I remember all of the class wondering if the harsh winter cold would affect our voices, but now it seems the more we throw ourselves into it and perform it properly the cold became less noticeable every rehearsal. I'm excited to perform the production as it's such a different way of doing one, plus it challenges us in the different conditions face outside. For example, if we don't have a microphone at times we need to project much more than what we would in the theatre, as the wind takes away the voice.
